"At Blind Veterans UK, we believe that no one who’s served our country should battle blindness alone. Founded in 1915 and previously known as St Dunstan’s, Blind Veterans UK is marking 100 years of service throughout 2015. From our birth through to modern day, we continue to provide a lifetime’s practical and emotional support, helping blind veterans to recover their independence and discover a life beyond sight loss. With a multitude of commemorative activities planned in 2015, we will celebrate the commitment, courage and resourcefulness of the veterans we have helped and continue to help, as well as our supporters, volunteers and staff."
